Kase Filters UK Price Cut
I could hardly believe it when I received the email from Andrew Yu, Commercial Director. A Kase Filters UK price cut is being applied to the popular Kase Wolverine filter line. What a way to celebrate your first year in the UK by reducing the prices of filters. If anything, I was expecting an apology email to advise an increase in Kase Filter prices due to the weak pound. I had never expected a reduction in a million years and I’m delighted.
Now if you’re a regular Lenscraft reader you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of the Kase Wolverine Filters. These wonderful glass filters are scratch resistant, shatterproof and have a surface that causes water to bead and roll off. They are pretty much my perfect filter for Landscape Photography. I switched to using Kase Wolverine filters just under 12 months back having previously used the Lee 100mm system. If you want to know more, I wrote this article explaining why I switch filter systems to Kase. Having used the Kase Wolverine Filters regularly for almost 12 months I stand by everything I said. After regular use they remain as good as new and still performing beyond what I had expected. These filters are a pleasure to use out in the real world.

I spoke with them this week Jan 4th and there are plans to create a 75mm version later this year. Which I think will be brilliant!
I was out shooting with one of the guys from Kase UK just before Christmas. He mentioned a couple of new things but not this. If they release a 75mm version I will be first in line. Fingers crossed.
